Director Finance and Accounting

The Finance Department of the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF) is crucial in managing financial resources to ensure effective allocation. It handles budgeting, financial planning, and funds management, overseeing the disbursement process to ensure timely and appropriate use of resources. The department is also responsible for financial reporting and compliance, ensuring adherence to regulations and maintaining transparency through internal audits. Additionally, it manages procurement and contract negotiations, ensuring fair and cost-effective processes. The Finance Department focuses on risk management, identifying and mitigating financial risks to safeguard NGAAF’s assets. It also engages in capacity building by training staff and stakeholders in financial management. Collaboration with other departments, government agencies, donors, and stakeholders is key to informed financial decision-making and maintaining trust and transparency through effective communication of financial performance.
